Re: Bridgeport Romi EZ-Path Boot Disk

Mine is a 96 with the 386 processor. The dos 6.6 was a typo I run dos 6.22. The version of the EZ path will determine what dos you need. You probably need DOS 3.1. I think I have a copy of it if you...

    Re: Mach3 2010 Screen set

Are you zeroing it on the number 0 tool? This sets the base reference for the tool table then your offsets must be right on your other tools and there must be the H word (height) call before your Z...

Re: Bridgeport Romi EZ-Path Boot Disk

Honestly I don't know if the EZ path will run under dos3.3. Mine uses dos 6.6. Do you know how to make the computer boot from the A drive? If so try the dos 3.3 it won't hurt. The computer itself...

    Re: Mach3 2010 Screen set

Do you have a tool table with tool lengths recorded in it? If so t1 is you default 0 in order to get the other tools to auto 0 you should call a G0 G43 H(tool #) Z1.2500 after the M6 . This will...

Re: Best CNC Lathe Conversion ??

Missing sector sounds like your missing some system files. In order to install a new hard drive you must format the new drive with dos 6 with the /s switch so it becomes a bootable
    drive. Then...
  9. Re: Romi/Bridgeport EZ-Path Lathe serial transfer using EZ-Path Utilities

Replace the diskette drive with a usb diskette emulator, they cost about $30. Copy your files on a thumb drive and read them directly into the machine.

    Re: EZ-Path G-Code

When in the view file window there is a command to edit #7. This will display the code, (not really gcode) and give you the option to save the file. I sent a PM to you about the usb adapter. You just...

Re: Need HELP out of ideas!!

These machines are pretty good about giving a fault cause. Your not getting any explanation on the screen as to why it stops? Sounds like your getting a false feed hold input to me.

The EZpath is already PC based. It uses brushed DC servo's with quadrature encoders. Any Pentium based PC ,smooth stepper interface and 2 Gecko G320x servo drives will do the job. The smooth stepper...

Re: tuning gecko g320x with oscilloscope

  21. Re: Any insight into how I can improve surface finish on this part

There is a add on for Mach3 called ProbIT by Crafty CNC that does just that and any other kind of probing. You can download a demo and test it before buying.

  25. Re: Any insight into how I can improve surface finish on this part
