Could you elaborate on this crank idea a bit?
I've got a similar kind of thing going on, lifting a 15kg weight with a ball screw / linear guides. Distance is 700mm and the speed needed is comical....
Finally back in business. Got most of my tooltable back from the last settings backup I had and with a bunch of screwing around in the backend I now have the folder on my NAS showing up in the files...
I ended up having to do a re-install of 2.0.0 and then update a bunch of times. I took the HD over to another computer and copied the gcode folder and what I could but it looks like I lost a bunch of...
Today I was trying to get my Pathpilot computer (HP) to connect to my home network synology share and I guess I screwed something up
At first the clock was wrong so I got those errors and I...
Hell I'd just like to be able to line up some commands when typing in the MDI window without the space bar stopping whatever is currently going on :)

Sorry but which pump are you referring to here?

Arduinos I'm familiar with but never seem to have the time to look into the tormach side of things. Care to share your setup?

I've always figured the $250 USB I/O module is a bit speedy. Must be a way to get around it, maybe direct to the mesa card or something

The controller is down inside the cabinet base so there's zero signal down there. I thing I've got a powered usb hub here somewhere. might have to steal the wireless / network hub off of the basement...
After setting up a network share and doing everything I think I see what might be causing the issue.
The machine keeps dropping off the network and then trying to reconnect but sometimes just drops...

I'm talking about a 1/2 hour or even 1 hour delay sometimes, not sure why, other times it's there by the time I walk out to the shop.
I've never managed to get the tormach to actually be...
Sometimes, not always but frequently, dropbox doesn't refresh on the mill.
when I change a program in the house and save it to dropbox, either as the same name or a new name, then go out to the...
Those parts are long gone but it's just that "type" of situation seems to come up more often than not and I've always done it one way or another type of thing. The center line contour might work for...
I'm more or less drawing the path now by adding some lines that run off of the proper shoulder and go around the outside of the part enough to ensure the cutter clears off everything, it's just a bit...
Be interested is seeing these lathe conversions. I've got a standard-modern running under linuxcnc but would like to have something different for the GUI, and if it even remotely resembled my 1100...

I don't think that's an option on my version. I'm drawing an extra profile around the lower part that comes off where the boss meets the outside contour now and using pocket and then a contour to...
Not always but enough to be a pain, I end up with parts that have 2 z-heights within a contour. Like a link with a raised boss on one end that matches the contour on 3 of the 4 sides and the...
Bolted in up, plugged it in, changed the usb port / extension cable and it recognized it, ran the calibration and it's up and running. Seems to work fine, even works through the piece of plastic I...
One I ordered from the above link showed up today, going to wait for it to warm up and figure out how to hook it up without screwing up my already working non-touch screen setup

Thermal release tape but I don't know if it's available double sided
I use some carpet tape when milling thin parts, found that soaking it with varsol for awhile breaks the bond and it will let go...

Finally got around to moving the control panel after having the parts...
Seems that it's loosing a little each time on a lot of movements. I'd be tempted to check the motor to ballscrew connector to see if it's loose or slipping.

Delta 1000, (which really seems rare or something, very little info seems to be out there, their site hardly acknowledges it)
I know it had to be wired into the i/o but no idea which connections...
Thanks.
The MPG they have is just a selector switch (like the AXIS switch), there's no circuitry inside the pendant.
On the other machines I've built or repaired (which oddly enough had...
Does this interface card look familiar to anyone?

That worked perfectly, thank you so much.
No to find what parameters to look at for rapids
Everything is a challenge without documentation, I need to wire in a pendant and turns out the old one...
I'm still hoping for someone with a 1000 para book to step in as I don't want to start guessing based on a different version of the control. But first thing first, just accessing the parameters will...
I was at the same screen as you show above (screen 1) but don't see anywhere to enter the PAR, do I just punch it in and hit enter (won't see anything on the screen type of thing?)
I'll be back...
