    Personally as someone who started with manual machines I'd think long and hard about getting rid of it unless you need the money.

    You can jog the thing around and use it exactly like a manual mill...

    It makes me feel lazy . I used to like spending time making things on my lathe .
    Now with having the 770 dialed in im taking parts out of the mill, running them in the tumbler for a couple hours...

    There isn't enough of them to make it worthwhile to set up a vacuum pump or get to crazy with fixturing .
    And a bit of bow in the middle isn't a big deal tolerances are quite large .

    I use mostly 4140 in my 770 , but I do small parts and don't remove tons of excess materials .

    But I've found that looking for a bigger tool isn't always the best solution for getting things done...

    Won't be using flood coolant or a power draw bar so no worries there .
    I was considering using the tool cabinet because it's quite a bit higher then the cast iron table saw work bench .

    I've used my tc tapping head exactly two times with a 8-40 tap and haven't broken it yet :)
    I used it at 500 rpm to . I can't see where a few rpm either way would make a difference .
