I have a diy arduino based CNC router. It runs GRBL and I send GCode with UGS. Works great. I want to get into cutting foam decking for boats and am hoping some of you may suggest a way to digitize...

running simulate in Fusion works just fine.
Well I am running GRBL on an arduino uno R3. Grbl has limited documentation. Lets just say that GRBL cannot handle the code to 4 places. How do I fix that in Fusion 360?
Thanks
Sorry, not very technical, What do you mean by "your control"?
Trying to do a rather detailed 3D lion face. After generating the GCODE using fusion 360 and GRBL post it runs fine in simulator mode but I get this error when running it in check mode on UGS.

I am running GRBL on my CNC router machine and it does not handle tool changes. In previous version of Fusion I was able to uncheck output M6 and output tool number and it would save it across...

Noob here to CNC. I have noticed with my DIY CNC router that parts that I cut are not exactly as I have them drawn. Ex. I cut a 3 inch square part and it is to large for the 3 inch square hole that...
Well I resorted to setting up Fusion to stop generating those commands and all is well. Probably should have done that in the first place.
My UGS running computer died so I had to get a new computer and had to load the latest UGS on it.
My CNC router machine runs GRBL 1.1.
I think I have all the modifications applied to the new UGS...
Can I use a chromebook?
I had this old laptop running UGS for my DIY cnc router. Was working good but now I think the video card crapped out as it will not send video to its display or a connected display. So, what are...
how do you tell the tool path how deep to go without a 3D model?
Is there some good doc on HOW TO USE the UGS autolevel feature? All I can find is youtube videos with no audio. Really hard to follow.
Hoping for some good written doc.
Thanks
I have created a sketch with the word Christmas. All I am trying to do is cut this word out using a 2D contour tool path but I CANNOT select the geometry. I can select the leading C but the rest of...
I downloaded the latest post from the autodesk posts library and reposted this tool path but I have the same issue. I am a noob with g-code and dont think I have the skills to figure this out. ...
UUGH This error is all over the carbide motion and x-carve boards with lots of different "resolutions". Was hoping to get more info here. I really don't know g-code but the error line is posted in...
Anybody else??
Please
I am running Fusion 360, UGS, GRBL(on an original Arduino UNO R3). I have POSTed many tool paths since building my machine and have never encountered this error.
Fusion generated a 97000 line tool...
nope not there that I can see
Is there somewhere that a comprehensive manual is available for UGS? Like, what are all the parms for, etc?
Thanks
ok I downloaded the latest release of UGS and all is well
I am currently running UGS Platform 2.0. In the list of plugins I have a PROBE HELPER but I see videos that reference a PROBE MODULE that seems a lot more useful. How do I download and use that...
ok how do you ground the hose?
Got any recommendations for where to buy a reasonably priced dust collector?
Thanks
What works better for dust collection from a cnc router(2.2kw spindle), a shop vac or a dust collector?
What horse power?
Thanks

my laptop does have a third wire on the charging cord. When I created my electronics box I added a grounded 120v power outlet that I plug the laptop into.
So, I will run a wire from the Arduino...
