There are two good basic Centroid Mill training videos on YouTube. Search Centroid CNC Mill training. Also join the Centroid CNC User Forum. You'll get lots of support there. It's a good control.
I can still make up a couple of sets but no longer have the tightening fixture which is basically an aluminum block with a pocket machined into it to hold the tool holder while tightening it.
Price...
I still have a couple sets of these left and some extra holders. Still $169 shipped USPS Priority Mail. Extra holders are $25 each, until they are gone.
Marty
I did not, but it will work.
The software formats the USB like a bunch of 1.44 drives.
I sold the mill and am now running an Atrump with Centroid control
We are refitting a Dyna Myte DM3300 CNC Lathe. We are removing a working Mitsubishi M500 L control. We are selling the control cabinet including its contents (we may keep the turret control board if...
I still have several sets of these left. I have not been actively advertising them, but did get an inquiry here.
Marty
Machine was scrapped unfortunately.
Control was sold long ago to keep another machine going.
Looks like she's going to get scrapped.
Thanks everyone!
Marty
I did not. I had purchased new AC Servos for the machine and then found a newer Atrump Maximill E216 with a Centroid control.
I sold the TC22 to a new owner who completely disassembled it,...
Dean got back with me with a measurement, from the base to the highest part of the machine, is 82"*So it should just make it under a 7' garage door using pipe for rollers. (if you are interested,...
A local club member is moving. He started the restoration of this Dyna Myte DM4500. He can't take it with him.
The iron is done and ready for a new control. The old controls including spindle drive...
Let me clarify a couple of things. These were a design based on the original Dyna Mechtronics DM 2000 series tool holders. These were made in China by a large company that makes tooling. The project...
I have a few holders and special nuts left. The tool holder is machined slightly differently from the original sets. (Though, they interchange)
What you will get:
1 Special ER16 Spindle nut (Clover...
Mactec,
PM me....
Marty
I get it guys. It may not be for everyone.
I know of one guy that tested it on a Taig and he was happy.
I know of two people with DM2400(John who "Hman" is one of them who has had a set for awhile...
Dyna Myte's allow you to adjust the headstock up on a post giving you more spindle daylight.
Such a small machine, they work pretty well. The spindle motor is a small 1/2hp DC Brush motor.
Marty
Not a problem at all. I just used the Dyna Dm2400 as a basis for the design. They may be helpful for all bench mills with an ER16 spindle taper. Though I don't know which machines had those.
They do...
I have a limited number of sets of ER16 Collet Chucks modeled after the tooling system used in the Dyna Myte DM2400 bench top mills. It was a limited run on the tools that were made and never did...

Super old post. This is a conductive probe. Pin 1 goes to the probe tip and pin 3 goes to the shank (or vice versa). I have a new one in the box. Thought I would bring closure to this one in case...
Just curious how you were getting along.
Marty

I have to respectfully disagree with you. I have lost track over how many Acorn builds I have done, how many Acorn related videos I have posted. I have used and tested many stepper drives and have...
