Re: New machine upgrade from hobby

One of the things that has made me successful is flexibility. I have 8 different designs on foot controls and offer custom sizing/offsets. So I am very lean in terms of how much I cut at a time. ...

Re: New machine upgrade from hobby

Well I just signed on a dt-1. Haas practically paid me to take it. 12k spindle, TSC, chip auger, pcool, HSM, WIPS for under $50k with delivery and setup. So psyched!

Re: What model is this please

Looks like an nm-135 to me. Pic is a little small but I would say that is what it is. There are 2 versions of the 135. One with a 4500rpm spindle and one with a 6000rpm spindle..

Re: Machining some chunks of 6061

This seems crazy to me . 1"doc, .59"woc at 50ipm? I can bog my spindle at .5"doc, .1"woc at 40ipm with a 2 flute 3/8" HSS. I am assuming .059 woc and still seems like a lot!

  28. Re: Am I at the limit of my Torus Pro with this DOC & WOC?
