I'm not a Mach expert but it may be a control interface issue. Did you install the "lock down" version? For some odd reason I had to un-install and re-install a few times when I first set mine up.
Just a thought, but I purchased an old Dell OptiPlex GX260 PC Mini Desktop P4 2.0 Ghz 1 Gb Ram 8, Win 7 & Samsung SyncMaster 710T 17" Flat Screen LCD off of e-Bay for about $60 to run Mach3. Works...
