I can project the exploded text on to a sphere but can't figure out how to extrude it in bobart.

Did you extrude the text on the sphere using bobart, I see in the stock menu in bobart you can do it on a cylinder.

It's been a while since I used Bobart and I thought I had done it before, I know I can extrude text to a flat surface but for some reason not to a 3D surface.

So if this is true and I run Cent 6, do I still have to buy Digiscan. I just want to do simple 3d digitizing, my old machine with Mach3 did a great job, don't want to spends $1000s on Digiscan.

Might have a parts manual for SL1 but no Parameters, that's way too old now, I wouldn't throw any money at that, 1978/9 vintage.

I was thinking about reproducing old motorbike parts like cases etc, or it just would be nice to have who know what I might want to replicate.

So they still support it, it's pretty old software. They say after digitizing you can cut the part straight form the PC without sending the data out to a third party software.
