Don't take this the wrong way but.... Nice package! :)
I have cut aluminum plate 3/8" thick into pieces with a table saw - I even used a regular 40 tooth carbide tipped wood blade. It did what I needed, optimal or not. I also use a regular wood chop saw...
Gotta love the 8020. Stiff, light, and straight... Good luck!

A medium sized carved wooden sign or two should pay for it for you. I always try to pay for "machine stuff" by machining stuff. With the full version of mach I have run programs that were 6 hours...
I've been running Mach for almost 3 years without a hitch. Wonder if I should be nervous now...
