With the servo motors I have 15000 mm/min speed and 1000 acceleration. (pretty scary when it moves with G0)
Before with stepper motors I had 2500 mm/min speed and 200 acceleration.
And not only the...
For now I am happy with the motors as a replacement for my old steppers.
I did use the cable for tuning the motors, but nothing special, just the auto tune to determine the inertia of each axis, and...
You need first to define your part coordinate system in camworks and just after that to make setups. Any mill part setup is related to the defined coordinate system.
For the FACING toolpath you have the option min side offset default in %, if your max stepover is for example 60% you can chose for min side offset the difference to 100% (40%), to have the same...
Everywhere I've read about M100 says it's user defined M code:
"User Defined M-Codes: M100-M199"
Example: TORMACH, LinuxCNC
Edit: Specific for okuma lathe I've found this:
M-Code List Cheat...
Does every motor on your machine have it's own power supply? If not, is your X and Y on the same power supply? (If yes you may not have enough current for two motors running at the same time)
Or...
I think that is related to software generated toolpath as lines instead of arcs.
To figure that if is or not software related you can try making a manual toolpath to test the controller with I J K,...
If you use V-Carve / Engraving Toolpath the value of start depth is always negative from material surface, so your toolpath will be that value deeper in material.
Maybe reading this will help you. You need to use google translate again.
Success.
I didn't see that bug before, but now I looked in the new version and not see anything like that. The tool is on the toolpath.
Where? I don't see any link...
You need to read all of this NEW TNG users: List of essential PlanetCNC TNG tutorials
Or you can pay someone to do it for you as per your other post request. But reading all of that it's a must if...
I understand that, but I just told you about the fact that that error occur to late anyway if the tool is to long, it is after X and Y will move to previous position from tool change and just after...
Ok, thank you for confirmation.
I have no choice and I don't see any trouble with not getting to that Z position before it had, because is happening after X and Y arrived at previous position from...
No, I'm not. I will ask you again, did you made that simple test?
Start to measure a tool that is longer than previous from Z0 machine coordinate system with auto return enabled.
And tell me if you...
I've said that from the first post. Anyway I've commented the Z move from return in M6 script and problem is solved.
No, I'm not wrong. Did you made the test?
Higher than Z0 machine position doesn't exist.
You don't need profile folder, just start to measure a tool that is longer than previous from Z0 machine coordinate system with auto return enabled.
Edit: That will happen on any machine or...
If I disable "AutoReturn" then is moving up from fixed tool sensor (at Z zero in machine coordinate) and at that height if I manually command to go to previous position is no error.
So I think may...
I did not modify tool change script and I use tool offset.
I start simulation, Z is at zero, change tool to no.1, measure tool longer than tool no.0, here is a video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9FaH06te70
The solution is to change Safe Height to -50 and Z position of tool change to -50 too. (to allow the differences from tool to tool)
But that is not the way it should work, I think.
Edit: No, this...
I have another problem, when tool is longer than previous tool used, when it return to work position from tool change position it stop with error Machine limit reached, when is shorter it have no...
I don't think that 0-10V can control reliable the spindle speed. Personally didn't had spindle control from g-code till it become available the control of spindle through MODBUS. Before I was just...
Common Cathode : all the + sign goes to individuals +enable, +direction, +step and the - sign(gnd) is common for all of them, + is not connected.
Common Anode: is vice versa.
Edit: If you have...
Yes, but after searching through manual and scripts to see which does what...
Hopefully will see documentation complete and will be a lot easier.
Thank you.
I knew this to, I don't know what I did yesterday wrong, but today after another quick test it's surprisingly working... (maybe I was tired and made some mistakes)
Thanks for reply's, otherwise I...
I knew this. The problem I had was not knowing how to check spindle command speed before execution to set the delay before execution for every spindle command.
I found a way but can only use _prog_minspindle or _prog_maxspindle and are not useful anyway when program multiple toolpaths with different spindle speeds.
So I modified my post processor and job...
