    it cannot take 14 oz without moving. At 9.5 oz it will hold but any more and the motor turns. This is at the end of the 10 in leaver. Any ideas as to why?

    Can you explain "meter it at the driver input" Does that mean measure amperage from the power supply to the driver? If so that's what I did and I get only 1 amp max
