    oh yes, thank you mcimes :) the problem what i have got, is that it was needed to remove the sleeve from the lathe, change the tool, then put the sleeve back with the new tool

    it was not possible...

    hy mr wizard, so far i don't have an optimized code for milling hexagons, so i use a toolpath that is on tool center, Xoffset=-40, no compensation, and code looks like this :

    yes, of course ... usually i generate the toolpath on tool center and use Xoffset-40, but now i tried to take a shortcut, by having the toolpath = part, and measuring...

    ... jog the M axis
    ... put a simple live tool, without the screws, on the working station, then rotate the live tool by hand, and feel if the motion is continuous; after that, jog...
