    I know it is old discussion but just to leave my comment. Don't know the amount of work but more reasonable to buy NC machine at start, they could be quite cheap from Asia.

    Amada is for sure 10-15 years support. But something is possible, for example complete controller upgrade etc. It is more reasonable to speak with Amada and Pacific directly. It could be even reason...

    Absolutely sure than on hydraulic press brake with numerical control the stroke is controlled (means the final position of stop of punch)

    1. Simple machine more than 1500 will be Y1, Y2 + X. It means 3 axis. Maybe asians make Y1+Y2 as one.
