3hp, less than 1/8 doc with a small endmill and it still bogs a bit, no thanks. Glad I didn't waste my money so thanks for sharing.

Lol, I don't think grizzly is responsible for replacing defective parts on his Amadeal AMA25LV!
Yeah the fuses got my attention though, noticed fastest1 saying in that thread he had to replace his but this thread is good for showing how to fix that.
Was this the other thread? http://www.cnczone.com/forums/benchtop-machines/176826-forum-13.html Note it's wiggles other thread where he was warned by gcofield and phomann who was praised for his...
How many have you heard about popped drivers? Other links I can read? This is the first for me and I hardly put the blame on the mx3660 in this case.
Lol, why do people keep bringing up closed loop steppers? Try reading from the beginning, he shows pictures and links to what he is running and they are regular old 4 wire steppers, nothing closed...
Ummm, the busted endmill looks awfully big for a 2mm he said he used on the latests parts in question. Unless he has some REALLY dainty fingers.;)
This was your response to the OP's video on how he checked his backlash. Several people have pointed out that this method does NOT do anything to show the backlash in the axis. As you think it did...
Yes it does, and why is that? Because you have said that my acceptable tolerance of .0008-.003 is not acceptable to you. So if the minimum of .0008 is not acceptable to you Please show me the g0704...
I said .0008-.003 is acceptable, again! I didn't say I USE calipers with inside jaws off .005., SEEN them. I use Starrett. So do the parts you make on your g0704 measured with brown&sharps...
Have you ever calibrated your calipers? Like I said they are a blunt tool, I've seen some that the inside jaws are .005 inch (.127mm) off from what it should. This could easily explain the difference...
Yes I know that's why I made a point to say inch, .08mm = .003 inch, .02mm = .0008 inch. I made the conversion for the US audience so they understand how small an error we are talking about. Measure...
The 18.08mm measurement was an internal dimension? LMAO Who said they aren't accurate? .0008-.003 is very respectable which is my point to the OP. Trying to achieve much better from these machines is...
No these were his latests results after making corrections, did you read the thread? There comes a time to call it quits and accept the completely acceptable results unless pulling hair out is your...
Uhhh, so what's the problem? Your worst is only .003 inch, the inside .0008 inch. You seriously don't think it should be 0 every time? Calipers are a blunt tool anyway. Did you program a small finish...
Hmmm, maybe not heat then, perhaps static electricity, shorting, EMF, ground fault, etc. Doubt that mounting electronics on top of a psu is highly recommended.
I'm inclined to think it was because you ignored several warnings in your other thread about mounting the mx3660 on top of your psu restricting airflow and now both are kaput, coincidence?
$700-800 for something you have to baby to keep from bogging, FORGET IT. spend the money you'd save with a 56c/vfd for a beefier z motor/gas struts to handle the weight.
Why would it bother me jack, they make the rules not me. And as it turns out the suggestion I gave to photomank helped him, what did you do?
yeah some slipped through the cracks and avoided notice, nice of you to throw them under the bus. don't act naive, you seriously can't come up with a price on your own? nobody knows what you have in...
yeah, put it on ebay and take bids instead of trolling for customers on here, they don't like that.
Don't waste your money with that kit, read this.

I didn't think you'd have a constructive response, keep your insults to yourself in future.
Ok, call Tormach yourself and request a copy then let us know how that goes.
You don't have to reinvent anything if you just pay Tormach for their upgrade and you get real support with it. You say you aren't out to take money out of their pocket but seem determined to not...
If Path Pilot is open source then why is it only provided to Tormach customers and why is this thread here to try to obtain a copy without paying for it?
Very well said sir.
This didn't take long. You can't be honest and pay Tormach for their hard work? This sure sounds like trying to pirate their software. I'll bet cnczone won't let allow this Hacking on their site.
I think this is along the lines of what many should start thinking. Tormach is moving up to a real mill controller with PP. People need to change from their hobby mentality. You wouldn't go out to...
Makes perfectly good sense to me to keep the competition from benefiting from all the work they've put into this and keep it In-house so to speak. They are under no obligation to make it available to...
