    Re: Converting F1P-CNC

It's a DC 550w @ 90V motor that's capable of up to 150-4000rpm, and controlled via a board on the TM02. The controller also can control the rotation between clockwise and counter-clockwise for...

    Re: Converting F1P-CNC

I know that's what you meant, and it's a solid recommendation without any specifics. I think your suggestion is the general consensus, but spindle control in Mach3/4 is where I'm looking for options.

    Re: Converting F1P-CNC

Turns out the stepper driver boards are working, but there's an overload somewhere. Do you recommend something for the spindle control board? Anyone know if the spindle control board in the TM02...

    F1P-CNC blown tantalum capacitor?

I acquired a F1P with the EmcoTronic TM02, the guy promised it was complete and working....yeah right.

I have a couple of problems with it, I thought I got the MSD data entered properly from the...
  9. Re: Emco F1 CNC need help (school project, original)ll

Can you share what you got figured out? There would likely be value to others in your discovery and progress with these machines!
  10. Re: New to Emco F1 and could use some expert advice as it is partially converted, I t

Nice score! If you don't like it, let me know I'll take it off your hands for you. :D

    Q1 & 2:
The stepper motors appear to be different, I think the factory installed ones were 135oz, but...
