Alright all you ladder gurus out there, I am hoping someone can help me get an edit made to my ladder for my Doosan Puma 2000sy. I need to be able to read from a macro, when the machine is in...
I wish this worked! this is exactly what I am looking for, unfortunately, my control isn't liking those codes. :(
deadlykitten, thank you for all your ideas, I will give it a try and see how it works out for us.
drdos, attached is the ladder file.
I assume the P codes you are talking about are with reference to dual turret, multi-tasking lathes? If so, then no, this control does not have that ability.
I have put M-codes on lines combined...
This is more like what the timing is on my machine
Blow Off =~4
Catcher up= 1
open chuck = <1
eject part = 2
catch retract = 1
close chuck =<1
Thank you for the idea. I just switched that parameter and put the part catch up and blow off on the same block. The machine only performed the first M code on the block (blow off)? Any other...
Hey y'all,
I have a Doosan 2000SY lathe with a Fanuc 18i-tb Control and when I want to perform a part eject and catch at the end of the cycle, it takes up a lot of time. It needs to blow off the...
Thank you for the response, I looked at the parameters manual, and I think I found all the parameter info I will need in there.
I was thinking along the same lines with the e-stop as well, but...

I have bought a cheap tool setter off amazon that has two switches, the primary trip switch, and then an emergency overtravel switch. I want to get it...
Solved!
Here is the solution:
Ok yall, what am I doing wrong here? I need it to output only the values found in the misc. reals, not the labels themselves....Mastrercam 2022
Thank you very much! Now I just need to get my boss to order those switches. In the meantime, while I am waiting for the switches, I assume I can just put a jumper between +24v and x10.2 or x10.3 to...
I think this is what you are looking for? K06- 00000000
deadlykitten, here is the switch I will be using-

drdos, here is the ladder file. I took a quick look at the ladder on the machine, and it appears to have things mapped to G54.0-G54.7 and G55.0-G55.7. As far as I can tell, those are all related to...
I am fluent with Macro B so getting the program itself to work will be no problem, I just need that #1100 and #1101 variables to be mapped to the switches.
I have gone in pretty deep with the switches and am ready to get them purchased and installed. Can you explain how a feed skip would work for me? the machine doesn't have a probe, so I can't verify...
Ok, talked with an engineer and have everything all figured out on the wiring side of things. Now, for the software changes, I will definitely need to be talked through how to update the ladder and...
Ok, I think I have this somewhat figured out. If I am looking into this correctly, I would have one wire from the switch going to #7 for +24v, and another wire going to #342 to engage x10.2 when the...
Yes, that makes perfect sense. I've heard of this being done but never been a part of something like this before. Am I looking in the right spot on where the switches will be wired to? Will these...
I think I am understanding what you are getting at, but I'm not sure. Can you explain this a little more for me? Thanks!

We are running a high volume of a family of parts, so minimizing spindle idle time is key. In order to make things go fast and smooth, I made a subplate that...
Hey yall, I am trying to alias out the m6 tool change so that the machine will home the z, stop the spindle, coolant, and if needed go to a safe tool change position.
Here is my code:

I came from a shop with Makino Machines where each machine has, I believe, 9 different block skips. I am now in a shop with a variety of older Fanuc Controls, I know at least the lathes have multiple...
