Old thread but I have the same problem as the OP with 2 * 2.2kw spindle and 2 VFD's!
I released a little magic smoke on one of the spindles so I tested both for ohms and got 1.7 on my brand new...
Maybe these setting's are the ones?...
So I checked and I have a D223B what do I actually do to change these settings?
And are these the settings I need to change to change the Ramp up?
And what should I change them to?

Do you know how I do it? I'm so confused with the Chinglish manual
It's the standard Huanyang VFD
Thanks
I didn't use my machine for 6 months when I tried to power the spindle up it blows the fuses in my plugs
So I disconnected the spindle and VFD powers on OK
So I bought a new spindle 2.2kw same...
I have 13 objects that have different Z axis heights in my fusion model now for manufacture I want to put all 13 on the same Z axis plane.
They are inlays I want to cut out on a single piece of...
Get a ballscrew and ditch the lead screw. I have a 1400m 1605 ballscrew with BK12/BF12 fittings was ~$100 delivered from China I feel a lead screw is the wrong choice here given the cheapness of...
All sound good but you are really much better off with Hiwin style rails vs SBR but SBR25 is the minimum acceptable solution.
I keep meaning to connect it up I have made a cable now but need to drag a windows PC to the machine as I'm running linuxcnc.
When I think back to my original plan to belt drive with SBR25, a...
I love my AM882, this is 32X microstepping and 70v so quiet!
I'm going to run them at 8X microstepping which is louder and more like people expect steppers to sound but was shocked how quiet...
Personally I'd go for AM882 for my drivers and ditch the nema 34's for a 3nm nema 23 that frame isn't strong enough to take advantage of the nema 34 extra torque and the 34 will just be slow.
I...
It's easy when you know how
what it does is touch the X axis first when homing knowing it moved the X axis it know that input must be X home. Then it steps away from the Axis and homes the Z axis...
Much better to use the antec PSU's as ger21 suggests and current issues go away

Maybe I'm not understanding so forgive me if I'm wrong but you have 5 input pins if like my board.
X,Y, Z, touch sensor, Estop is how mine were labelled
lets assume your dual ballscrew is the Y...
That's pretty common it's how mine is setup share homing input pin Z and X you only need individual pins for homing on the Y axis.
I have no Z homing switch so only need 3 inputs anyway.
I just realised I could use my spare all in 1 pc which has a touchscreen if I have an Ethernet controller which would be cool ;)

This is an example of a cheap LPT...
Can't you share an input pin for two of the limit switchs the Z axis and any other one?
Nice one that's exactly what I was looking for! I heard of these controllers but couldn't remember what they were called.
At moment I have 2 PP and 2 BOB's but I'm only using 1 BOB only got a...
£3 BOB for me with parallel port, one of the hardest things was finding a pc with a PP, in the end I bought 2 PP PCI cards (1st one didn't work) to get a working PP for linuxcnc. My budget is always...
I assume one of your 4 is a clone for a dual ballscrew setup in which case a $5 BOB is fine, I have two of these (1 spare)...
Hi I recently finished a 1kva toroidal transformer build I'd thought I'd share with you.
The transformer is a 1kva dual 115v input, dual 45v output.
I'm in the UK so I wired the grey/violet...
I built a PSU with a toroidal transformer, dual input 115v, dual output 50v, wired in series on the input and parallel on the ouput.
See attachments for what I did, I have an usually high input...
Have done many times, tried it at 24v still red led, I have bought a new AM882 to replace it, this one is an AM882h which support AC and DC in so I'm going to see what happens when I feed it 50v AC.
I have 4 Am882's I'm in the process of setting up one of them initially had a green led and flashing red (Wiring was wrong for nema's) but not it displays only red.
I've changed the plug and tried...
So just fill the cavities with sand? Or I saw elsewhere use a 6% epoxy to sand mix?
Extrusion was free so for now I've increased the amount of extrusion in the gantry, I also embedded the extrusion into the mounting plates 5mm and increased the thickness of the plates by 5mm
Hi, thanks that makes some sense to me, I guess using a high tensile epoxy makes no difference?
Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me why?
I have no experience with resins I'm just going on what the resin people told me, I'd like to understand why casting a resin that cures to almost the...
Hi, I'm plodding away with my first router build and am getting close to mounting the gantry now. I got my spindle last week (2.2kw) and weighed it with the mount at 6.5kg's. Add Z axis and motor...
