  1. Re: motion control board (breakout board ) which one to buy??

He already wrote in another forum topic that his problem is that the analog 0-10V output on his AXBB controller does not go up to 10Volts, just to 9.2 Volts is what he wrote if I recall.
    On my AXBB...
  2. Re: UC400ETH and MACH3 connection problem solution

You should have only one UC400ETH plugin in the Mach3 folder. If you have more than one that is a problem.

    Re: Need help please

I do not see any advertised/spec'd voltage tolerance % for the analog 0-10V signal. It is not advertised or spec'd at all as far as I see.
Mine goes between 0-9.9Volts though which is quite accurate.

    Re: Need help please

Try adjust your VFD analog input Volts/output Hertz parameter to make it to rotate your spindle on 100% at 9.2Volts instead of at 10Volts and the problem is solved.
  5. Re: motion control board (breakout board ) which one to buy??

No. You will get what you pay for. :)

Those are the worst. Just search this forum for them and you'll see.
  6. Re: motion control board (breakout board ) which one to buy??

    UC400ETH or UC300ETH-5LPT or AXBB-E.

Re: which cnc motion controller for mach 3 ?

UC400ETH. It has less in and outputs but enough for my plasma machine.
AXBB-E is also a good option because it has integrated breakout board.

Re: PCB Autoleveler Plugin for UCCNC

    Which controller do you have?
The UC400ETH, UC300ETH, AXBB-E all have 2 probe inputs. You can set one to active low and one to active high and connect your 2 probes to the 2 inputs.

    Re: G31 not working

Get a real UC100 instead of a chinese fake one and your problem will be solved. (just my 2cents.) :)

    Re: Centroid Acorn experiences?

What you have listed are all true for other controllers too like UCCNC, PlanetCNC, EdingCNC etc.. The hardware and software come from the same company. They continously improving their products. All...

    Re: Mach4+ESS or Acorn?

The ESS works the same, it does the time critical tasks onboard not Windows. The ESS and many other controllers are also cheaper than the Acorn with more features.

    Re: Centroid Acorn experiences?

Well, Mr.Centroid contractor, yes I'm a fanboy because I like the software is there a problem with that?

You are right about that I have not tried the Acorn, I never said I did and I will not try...

    Re: Centroid Acorn experiences?

Yup, ofcourse your opinion is that as you are a Centroid contractor so ofcourse Centroid is the best in your mind, no matter if it has late 80s interface and is no customisable and less features than...

Sure Centroid employes and contractors making those threads, CNCKeith, NTL, Gary Campbell and their friends. :D

    Re: Centroid Acorn experiences?

Those what you read mostly were written by Centroid employees and contractors.
You have never used mach3 and uccnc is clear from your writing. Both softwares have much more features than the Acorn...
  17. Re: UCCNC issue - Y axe shifting and reset zero during job -

    I can only bet:

    - Code is wrong.
    - If the axis stalls at that certain point only, check if the linears or bearings or whatever supports that machine if it has any problems there.
    - Also check...

    Re: New 2x4 Saturn build

Then Vcarve calculating the time incorrecly or the Centroid doing the feedrate incorrectly.
What the UCCNC laser plugin calculates for this kind of laser engraving jobs is always correct however it...
  19. Re: E-Stop getting triggered when interpolating circles

Probably because your spindle motor is producing more noise if the depth of the cut is higher and if the feedrate is higher.
Did you try to set the debounce parameter in the UCCNC to filter out the...

    Re: UCCNC and Win10 questions

And I used mach3 first and I did not see any difference in the THC performance, the only difference was that UCCNC runs the path smoother and more reliable.

    Re: UCCNC and Win10 questions

Interesting because it is still a stepper motor which needs acceleration and decceleration no matter if it is THC control or whatever. I don't think mach3 did that you probably misunderstanding...

    Re: UCCNC and Win10 questions

Of course you have to run with acceleration. Your motor loose steps if you run it without acceleration.

    Re: UCCNC and Win10 questions

I never had any of these problems. I'm running a THC (proma 150) for 2 years now with which the UCCNC controls the Z axis. It runs flawless.
