I'd have to mill a part as described in the title. I'm using linear moves with 0.1mm stepover instead of circular moves for milling time reasons.

My problem now is as long as the ball...

Indepentend if it is a symbol font like the clanbadge or simple letters. You will always have to weld the vectors to mill the contours.
I used a font editor to make the clanbadge overlap 1 unit...

you can use from the menu Tools - > Address Adjustments.

Use the tab Adjustment , type in your axis Address A , let the Operation + , type in your Adjust Amount of 180 and click Go.

you can rotate the view if you are in Isometric view (Shift+F7), right click in the viewport window and move the mouse while holding down the right mouse button.

in the menu SETUP -> Machine Configuration -> Rotary 4th Axis -> 4th Axis Setup you can check ( or uncheck) Reverse Rotary Axis Direction.

the following code works fine with G3 but breaking the arc into lines the center of the helix is shifted in -Y direction with every 360 degrees.

Seemes to be a calculation...

and had issues when I use the wanted angle . It only works perfect with 60 or 90 degrees but not with 40 or 50 degrees....

the 'Text to G-Code' tool brings me up the error :

Invalid property value


Clicking the ok-button crashes NC-Plot.
