Just realized that you, with a day control, would also have potential issues with the wire from the dsp pendant to the cabinet....is that something can be swapped out?

What you have is one motor connection not working...

What you have is one motor connection not working and one (or more?) Connection getting extra pulses.

The good news is that is isn't too hard to figure out inside a cabinet. if possible, check or...

    Re: TECHNO.PST not proper.

    Ah, I see,

I never saw that confirmation....maybe a different version (edited as I saw you had servos, thought maybe this confirmation was a stepper thing)

    Also, I would hope that G64 isn't...

    Re: TECHNO.PST not proper.

Well, my apologies for not asking that particular question previously, glad you figured it out! After 20 years of one method (ok, not all of them with servo controls but as far back as I can...

    Re: TECHNO.PST not proper.

Mastercam techno isel posts are easy enough to figure out what to delete.....techno is a very simple post, but there is a lot of crap (probably) in the post you will never use....just print it out...

    Re: Tool path changed

Try a run with your curves linearized, just in case G2/G3 are acting weird, which can happen with decimal places (and probably other reasons)....just to see what happens. I am assuming they are...

Re: Anyone Using Teknic SST-1500 Servo Control?

Sorry, no idea on that, but my guess would be tuned for different end user applications as much as anything else.

Re: Anyone Using Teknic SST-1500 Servo Control?

The drives are step and direction input, so should be fine to connect directly, although obviously having optical breaks on the BOB is ideal, but more for the control hardware than the motor driver....
  9. Re: Second Hand Quick CNC - a few questions!

Note to later readers, g5.1 does nothing (other than throwing an error message) on this syntec controller....and issue #4 is what it is, no way around it.

Re: Sintra alternative for Laser Cutting

An update on this older thread, setting the power to about 50% helps too, same feedrate....then adjust as needed. Seems the other 50% is just re-charring the work or the first 50%, sorta....it's...
  11. Re: Second Hand Quick CNC - a few questions!

Ok, ok, nothing yet. I'm asking the seller about #4, and will try to set up networking to get around the issue too... assuming that helps.

On issue 5, I seem to be in the "normal" cutting mode,...

    Re: Wiring 3P 380v or 1P 220v

A quick google search says the in china, 220 is single, 380 is 3 phase, they may not be interwined like our system allows..that would explain why european machines are higher at 440v (220v x 2)

    Re: Wiring 3P 380v or 1P 220v

In North America, 220V single phase is/can be? 2x110v connections. therefore, you can take one of those and have a 110v power line.

    Likewise, 380 (single) is 2 x 220V (ish?, I don't quite get why...

    Re: Wiring 3P 380v or 1P 220v

My Machine in fact has 2 transformers, one for 220v 3ph at the panel to 380v on the machine, but then another for 380v down to 220 (maybe 200) in the cabinet for the servos and other...
  15. Re: Need help! Any feedback about Jinan AccTek Machinery co.,ltd?

An important bit of information is that not all manufacturers make there own 6090 machines....I have seen a thread like kebla's complaints for Omni.....we and others have bought the larger machines...

    Re: Chinese machine Auto Lube??

They mostly (never say all!) use oil. My CNT had oil bearings on for a while (it's design made that a bit of a mess, changed back to grease, but actually just manually using oil now), and the system...
  17. Second Hand Quick CNC - a few questions!

    Hi everyone.

I recently bought a 2010 vintage Jinan Quick 1530 ATC from a cabinet maker in Chicago, and brought it up to our shop in Vancouver Canada to replace an older CNT motion systems 2-head...
  18. Re: Re-wiring a 2001 CNT Motion Systems Router on the data side.

Just to close off this thread....
Never did get to the re-wiring project, mostly.

I found a good deal on a chinese tool change router of a newer vintage and bought that one as a bit of an...

    Re: UC400ETH network setup

Re: Flame polishing Cast Acrylic issues

It's probably the acrylic. Happens on some material even with regular gas cylinders and more machine in the mix. Try sanding the edge in the stuff that worked and see if it still looks good there...

Re: Laser tube end broke off

If it didn't open up the parts where the gas is, probably ok to epoxy back together. If the gas escaped, it's dead.

Re: Routing very thin acrylic pieces

I'd use cast acrylic #1, mill to the 1mm depth and then up to the thicker section, so more surrounding material at that thin cut #2, over cut that pocket area and then profile around the final shape....
