Need some opinions, are these to big/heavy to mount on a roller cart/tool bx and use them safely. They will stay manual machines. Space is tight here and making them mobile would be great

i bought the belt drive from littlemachineshop. pullys and belts, eliminate all the gears so it should be alot quieter
thanks Hoss but i fixed and fixed it good. previous owner used loctite on the threads. grinder worked great. ill order new nut, spindle, and bearings while im at it. better bearings were in order...
set screw is out, guess the best thing is say screw it and cut the nut off and buy new nut and spindle
well i started to take it apart so i could install the belt drive. have to take the spindle nut off so i loosen the set screw, install the spindle holding tool, and use the spanner to turn the left...

hey guys go on ebay and look up napco p801 alarm systems. they are cheap and easy to use. you can hook up smoke and heat detectors plus have 6 zones for burg.
well we did manage some progress this weekend, not finished but a very good start. I ordered all the bearings we need for the y and z axis. they will be here tuesday morning and ill order the drive...
got the fuses, panel mount fuse holders, iec power entry sockets and 2 6' iec cables. my bolts are here too. gotts stop at grizzly at some point and pick up a granite block. i ll bring my old laptop...
