what is the alarm or issue?
if it is the G91 G28 Z0, that code sends the Z axis to the home position, but it may not be the tool change position. the M6 should be calling the tool change macro...

your roughing depth cut may be larger than the contour step that is why it is by passing the feature
use the 2D high speed Dynamic Core tool-path. pick the 2 chains with the outer one first and then the inner one and the tool will start from the outside and machine leaving the boss in the middle
the tool will retract to the clearance plane between operations in mastercam. as far as i know you cannot force the tool to stay down between operations. if you know you are not going to hit then you...
Use one of the 2D high speed tool path for the 2D pocket. The Dynamic Area Mill works great for 2D pockets. set your depth of cut and stepover and go to town. it will react the same as the HSM but...
Everything will look good on the screen. The proof is in the pudding. When you show show some videos of the machine actually cutting metal then say MasterCam is the best choice. I do all that on a...
i don't believe you have the option of saving the geometry from X7 back to X4 due to X7 being a 64 bit software and X4 being 32 bit. yo will have to save it out as dwg or dxf.
you may have to physically rotate the part to the view you want to be in
select another tool for that operation and then reselect the original tool. that should take care of the problem.
search fro lathe custom tool in the help

mastercam selects the points in the order they were created. you have to physically resort them in the order you want.
dont know if this is what you are looking for but it is in the tool setting page of the ops manager see attached
force a toolchange between ops or program a manual entry M0 ( flip part ) set to output as code
based on the way your program is written selecting individual tool groups will allow you to do what you want. just click on your tool group's name and only that group will be checked
extend the surfaces until they intersect then use the trim surface to surface function
i assume you want to use MasterCam since you are in the MC forum.
Use the 2d high speed peel mill routine using the slot edge geometry to drive the tool set your exit and entry distance.
circle mill toolpath will get you the results you need. copy your drilled ops down and change them to circle mill and select your tool and cutting parameters.
your filter settings should allow you to do that. use the 'refine toolpath' to control the length of your prog and the surface finish
use tool path trim feature to trim the toolpath so it gets rid of the air cuts and only cuts actual material

i normally create a temp folder to update the files to and then copy them over to the permanent directory so if something goes wrong my directories do not get messed up

the fanuc will run subs on the dripfeed as long as the subs are stored in machine memory and called by M98. we do it all the time, but we only use subs for circle mill routines.
reverse post cannot be done with any of the X versions.
from my lathe programming days, i always programmed to control comp with zero tool nose radius. the set up guy inserts the TNR in the machine control. this way the machinist is not tied down to one...
