34's vs 23's .....for a good comparison, what are the specs on the two motors that you are looking at?
Misalignment, bent ball screws, non matching extrusion lengths, are all of the mentioned & documented issues "standard" from this company? I am not hating on cncrp, I just would like to have a better...
Bruce-
I was talking to the more than 260 people that have viewed your thread, I am sure at least a couple of them could give you that measurement very easily.
Harbor Freight has free measuring tapes.
Hello
I am hoping someone with one of the NEW Pro tables that uses a 1.5kw Chinese spindle can post some videos of their table milling aluminum. If you have this setup, it sure be helpful to see...
They are cheap, but the cost of the bearings isnt the issue, it is the downtime and hassle that is. Ceramic bearings cost me a whopping $8 each shipped from aliexpress.
Post a link I think I will...
I had to replace a set of those bearings for my K2 setup, they charged a couple bucks each + shipping. That's seems cheap to me.
Thanks.
What shield is on the torch?
Maybe I am making this more complicated than it should be. After you slave an axis, the slaved axis is not available to adjust in Motor Tuning, correct? How do you adjust the steps on the slaved axis...
I know I enter the settings for the axis that will have a slave attached to it. Do I ever enter settings for the slaved axis?
Are these settings input before the axis is slaved or are the settings assigned when you slave the axis?
Is there any option for adjustment if the paired motors are not 100% matching on the settings...

I posted this in another without response:
I have often wondered, how do you fine tune a slaved motor? How are the steps set for the slaved motor? If the settings are only for the named axis "Y",...
BTA, I use this software but have never ramped or adjusted the air pressure. Can you explain your method & procedure?
Thanks
take advantage of CandCNCs DCC control that will allow the programmer to ramp down air pressure
Can you explain this process?
I have often wondered, how do you fine tune a slaved motor? How are the steps set for the slaved motor? If the settings are only for the named axis "Y", what if this is not the correct steps per inch...
I have thought of containing my table also. I wouldn't think the sparks would be such an issue, I don't find there are a whole lot of sparks going beyond my table normally. I keep going to some kind...
No problem.
I cleared a few messages out of the Inbox, thanks for letting me know.
I ended up building a unit & testing it, but I never used the anti rust liquid & stones.
Here are some pics that someone sent me awhile ago-251540251542251544251546251548
Jim,
If the optimal psi is 68, what is the range? At what psi will the Torch go out because it has too high or too low psi?
Thanks
Jim & Tom,
I have been using the RS485 serial link, but I have never set the PSI. I did not know the Auto PSI was over road with software.
If I didn't have the newest SCam post (with the PSI...
Jim-
I thought I read in the 85 service manual 75psi was optimal. On the chart you posted it says Torch Mech (is this for a Machine or Hand torch?) it also says for a 85 amp 25' 68psi is Nominal. Is...
Let me know what you would like to sell.
What is the difference on how he is grounding the material to be cut ("in his cradle") and hooking up a ground lead to flat plate to be cut? What is the concern or other factors in rotary cutting....
I found out that this is a special code put out by CandCNC and the HyT connect DCC kit. I have contacted Tom on the CandCNC support site.
Hello
I know this thread is a little old, but if...
Great build, very high quality.
I painted my table & tank, it failed almost instantly.
How does the powder coating hold up in the water table?
Can you post detailed/ measurement info on...
neilw20-
Thanks, the second link's info is very clear.
Hey underthetire
Thanks for the reply.
I want to make sure I am reading the same thing you are, from the Q & A:
Question-"Can this unit punch a 1/2" hole in 1/4" copper"
Answer-"This hole punch...
I knew I forgot something, 3/8" mild steel. Small production, this will not get daily use.
