Can you place the edited post and some good code in a Zip file and upload it here so someone can have a look at it for you.
  2. Re: Fusion 360 for mill turn mazak lathe.

    Tomazs

Can you put a copy of your post processor in a Zip file and upload it so someone can have a look at it, also Zip up some good code that can be used as an example.

    Regards
    Rob
  3. Re: 4th Axis tool plunges before positional moves

    RackmUp

Apologies, I meant to set it so that there would be no G91 in the code but sidetracked myself with something else and then just plain forgot, real easy to do :( :(

    Try the new version...
  4. Re: 4th Axis tool plunges before positional moves

    RackmUp

OK, here is a sample Post for you, it should be pretty close, I have removed all the G53 Home moves and done a couple of other small mods that I thought might be better for your no limit...
  5. Re: 4th Axis tool plunges before positional moves

I reckon it is the Mach3 post, I have just tested your file with a different Post Processor, it is one I use for 4th axis work so I know it works, well, on my machine controls anyway which are now...
  6. Re: 4th Axis tool plunges before positional moves

Reckon it may be the Post Processor, the Mach3 No ATC processor I have I know works and it is outputting different looking code to yours, it actually looks right :D

Do you have homing switches on...
  7. Re: 4th Axis tool plunges before positional moves

The code isn`t telling us anything, need the BobCAD .bccd file so we can see how and where it has been programmed.

    Regards
    Rob
  8. Re: 4th Axis tool plunges before positional moves

What version of BC are you using?
Is your A axis running in the X or Y axis?
Why do you have ; semi-colon on some lines, these should not be there.
Can you put your bccd file in a Zip folder and...

  12. Re: Need Help with a variaxis post processor V32

First of all what are your issues??

What is the Axis configuration? is it the usual X,Y and Z axis with a trunion C axis and a 360 degree rotational A axis, or is the Trunnion set up as a B axis...
  13. Re: i need to know how to download BobCad V24 or V25

Are all your files just 2D line drawings or are there any 3D solid models? If there are any 3D then they can be output as a .stp format for use in a different software!!

    BTW What software are you...
  14. Re: i need to know how to download BobCad V24 or V25

You need to have a licensed copy of BobCAD or a licensed copy of another software you can "copy and paste" into.
That is what I had to do, open in V31, copy to clipboard and then paste into V28 and...
  15. Re: i need to know how to download BobCad V24 or V25

This is very strange, when I tried to open your .bbcd file in V28 it threw up the "saved with a newer version" error so the file must have at some time been opened and saved again using a much later...
  16. Re: i need to know how to download BobCad V24 or V25

OK, never mind, I have managed to get the file into my V28, here is the .dxf file attached, see if it opens OK for you and is a good quality file, often get breaks in .dxf drawings !!

    Regards
    Rob
  17. Re: i need to know how to download BobCad V24 or V25

Can`t open your file, you must have done it in a later version of BobCAD than my V28, each version of BobCAD will not open the next version files, not good!!

Can you export the file as a .stp file...
  18. You will need to put the Bobcad file in a Zip...

Re: V32 not opening from Desktop icon

First thing, you do not need to uninstall the V31, each version of BobCAD is a stand alone program and they do not interact, always best to keep all your versions "alive" as that way you always have...
  20. Re: i need to know how to download BobCad V24 or V25

If you have any BobCAD version later than V24/V25 then it will open those files for you. You would have to pay BobCAD to get a Licensed version as any Unlicensed version will only export files in the...
  21. Re: Bobcad shuts down upon attempting to open a file

If you are the "Administrator" for the PC/Network try removing the offending User and then either try re-creating that User Name or create a new one. Or have you tried setting BobCAD to "Run as...

    Re: Bobcad file conversion
