Thanks Guys
yes sorry, 240 AC
I was starting to give up hope, with this spindle, could not find much online, this has given me some direction, I got the spindle for free, it's brand new, so it...
I have an ATC COLOMBO spindle, is there any hope to run this off of 220v any suggestions, opinions welcome, good or badhttps://www.cnczone.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=426606&stc=1
yes, I am also looking to replace mach3 turn with something else the Centroid Acorn, would be a good choice for me, but I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to use WIN 10, so that is totally out,
Thanks
We use your rockcliff pen holder in our 4'x 4' cnc router and it works really great,, so now we want to get another one for our larger machine but we need it a bit longer due to ER32 collet being so...
That doesn't sound too bad,$120 for a UC100 and $60 for UCCNC Software and I can still use my step and direction driver g540, sounds good, at least to give UCCNC a try
No parallel driver would be a problem for us, I actually have no issues with mach3, (hobby level) was going to give mach4 a try, they claim it will run on 64bit ? but definitely the parallel port is...
thanks ger21, I thought UCCNC could not run with parallel port, and needed special drivers, is there an official site for UCCNC,
You mention "the competition" Who are they? who would you recommend ?
they look like they have been left outside in the rain, a friend of mine once bought a machine in similar condition, he assumed it was just surface rust, but unfortunately the rain water was right in...
you know the old saying........... if it's too good to be true then it probably isn't
IMO the price will be increased substantially, when enough content is saved in the fusion format extension,...
I agree,
Adobe rental is quite reasonable, but I believe Autodesk is out of line with this,
Tried to use fusion offline, it stopped working, the free version will not save to dxf or stl,
… there were more than 250 people killed and 20,000 injured in bus-related crashes in 2009. From...
I would have to disagree, renting is always much more expensive in the long run, you have your facts mixed up.
Renting a car, renting a house, renting a tool, renting software, all will cost you...
if it's not broke don't fix it, I still use some software on a DOS machine, when needed
yes, I am genuinely interested in what others have to say ,,,
yes, I can be insulting, and a few other choice words too ,,
yes, I strongly disagree with companies forcing software rental, on...
For most of our 2D DXF work we use AutoCAD 2010 which works fine and we are getting good value for what we paid 6 years ago
For 3D we are using Solidworks 2014
Our CAD files do not leave the...
Your funny,,
I would consider you stop drinking the machine coolant, ,,,
Fusion 360 is a joke, it's NOT a direct comparison to Solidworks ,
You should be comparing Solidworks to Inventor, ...
just an illusion of cheaper, in fact you will pay dearly for it,
we don't rent a car, or house because it simply costs more, in the end
adobe has reasonable rental rates, autodesk does not
...
As mentioned we don't upgrade every year, so I actually will save a lot using Solidworks as they have a perpetual license, instead of the Autodesk Software Rental program,
Another issue I have...
checked out fusion 3d, and was not impressed, no offence, but I wouldn't pay 3 cents for that, won't even save to dxf or stl, will be definitely staying with Solid Works for some time
We don't like to upgrade to the latest software every year, so we tend to stay with older versions for longer, for us this subscription model is not very good, the worst part is all our drawings done...
Autodesk is moving to a Subscription License only (Rental) this month instead of Perpetual ,
is this good? or bad? for you
I would really like to see it actually working before I invest in the plans and all the parts,
when will you have it built,?
also what tools do you need to build it,
gotbigplans - have you actually built this machine and used it ?
and can you please upload some pictures of the real machine ?
thanks J
Nice work,
What Cad program are you using?
Hi
I did not see pictures of the real machine, just some 3d views, Can you post a picture of the real machine ? and some of the parts you made with it ?
Thanks J
this is great, thanks for sharing
