  1. Sticky: Re: YAPSC:10V : The glue between Step/dir and +/-10V servo amp

    Thanks Andy.

Looks like the YAPSC project is dead then - what a shame.

    Re: Step/direction to analogue converter

    Hi Larry

I understand the difficulty of making a living at a bench too well! If I was trying to run servos that were integral to the machine I'd very much agree $89 per axis is nothing. However,...

    Re: Step/direction to analogue converter

Thanks Sam. Yes, the Viper is not economical for the problem I'm trying to solve - it would be better to buy used step/dir drivers. I'm seriously considering the LCNC/Mesa route, but compared to...

    Hello Lucas

Your PM settings won't allow me contact you directly. Just wondering if you ever got any further with your YAPSC - type converter.

    Step/direction to analogue converter

Having been put right on the UHU servo controller, I need a cheap-ish means of converting step/dir pulses to +/-10 to control some analogue AC servo drives.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks David

I should have said that I need to control analogue AC servo drivers - so not sure if the UHU controller is suitable at all.

Re: Surplus AC Servo buyers guide

Just out of curiosity, I take it that the reason why the SGMAH motors, or any other outside of the SGM/P series, won't work is that the encoders aren't compatible?

I take it that the "plc module...
