    Re: Servo motor setup

So this won't be so complicated using the manual you have, your servo drive is just a very poor copy of a Sigma II Yaskawa servo drive even the manual has parts copied straight from the Yaskawa...

    Re: Servo motor setup

What size is your servo motor this will determine what size the fuse you would need, most would use at least a 20A so 6A is not going to do the job this Fuse can only be at the main supply power to...

Re: Huanyang Chinese VFD settings and manual here!

PD072 and PD073 these 2 Parameters set reversed will cause a problem, and no they can't be used or set in reverse not in any circumstances

Re: Huanyang Chinese VFD settings and manual here!

Can be tricky as everything has to be correct to make the Pot work, If you are using remote control you will not have any Pot Control no matter what you do, Pot Control is only active if in KeyPad...

    Re: Servo motor setup

Electronic Gearing has nothing to do with resolution, you can't change what the Encoder resolution is, ( although some high end Servo Drives you can change the Encoder Resolution ) but I doubt he has...

Re: Chinease 9Kw HSD ATC Spindle Knockoffs !

Your small spindles are running at 400Hz 800Hz is a big step up see if you can find the Carrier Frequency Parameter if you can then you could change this up to 10 this will help with the noise once...

    Re: VFD or VSD?

Are that explains it well, was the VFD just plugged into an outlet or hard wired, with the rest of the machine, single phase or 3 phase input power supply, it would depend also how low the RPM was...

Re: Chinease 9Kw HSD ATC Spindle Knockoffs !

Yes you are doing ok it's hard to translate sometimes as sometimes what you get won't make any sense as some characters won't translate at all into anything related to what is written
  11. Re: Why does this program make the machine crash? - with video

No you have a completely different setup when using a 90 degree head, which needs to be positioned before any axis moves
  12. Re: USB breakout Spindle control AV out. what does it do?

What control Software are you using if it is Mach3 then you need to set the PWM to 100 and check the Breakout Board for any jumpers, not all of these Breakout Boards are the same and some need you to...

    Re: VFD or VSD?

You need to use a VFD Drive and around 1 to 2 Hp larger than your spindle rating if you are using single phase power supply, you most likely damaged the original VFD because of wiring or incorrect...

    Re: Servo motor setup

Most Servo Drives have the own pulse generator, it serves no purpose to use Mach3 you can test run most Servo Drives with ( 1 ) parameter and how many pulse's you want to use to rotate the motor...

    Re: Servo motor setup

I think you are the one that is confused, the first thing he has to determine is the Electronic Gearing in the Servo Drive, then he can set the Steps Per in Mach3 you have it totally backwards which...

Re: Chinease 9Kw HSD ATC Spindle Knockoffs !

No You can not just have it Ground through the machine frame it must have a Ground wire, if you look at the photo you posted there is what looks to be a Ground screw

Re: My circles are always too small. Why?

That is what I posted about for the resolution, ( Drive configuration :)

The Ballscrew could have any pitch being a low grade Ballscrew, any pitch number is possible, that number does not matter...

  19. Re: Why does this program make the machine crash? - with video

Try it with G0G53Z0 this is how it should be used, if it does not have a G0 before it, G49 will cancel the tool offset and you don't want to do that unless you have to
  20. Re: USB breakout Spindle control AV out. what does it do?

It is used to control the speed if you where using a VFD Drive
  21. Re: CNC router build to machine wood and aluminium (1mX1mX0.4m)

You can mount it in the chuck ( Protecting the Screw with aluminum ) near where the bend is and slide a piece of pipe over the Ballscrew and just pull or push on it a little at time, checking it with...

Re: My circles are always too small. Why?

Yes Traming is one of the most important thing to do if you want any accuracy

You can't just increase the resolution by adding more steps per mm, in your case the resolution is controlled by your...
  23. Re: Moving Gantry column bearing spacing - open discussion

They are much better when you have a tall Gantry anything over 250mm to 300mm of Z axis travel and they can be a smaller rail size than if using a single one

Re: Chinease 9Kw HSD ATC Spindle Knockoffs !

There would not be a Braking Resistor mounted in the spindle terminal box A Braking Resistor is connected at the VFD Drive

An yes you will have to change the VFD Drive Parameters to suit the Name...
  26. Re: Why does this program make the machine crash? - with video

Which I don't think your control can do, it appears that your control is working as any 3 axis machine should, best wait and see if the manual can show anything different
  27. Re: Moving Gantry column bearing spacing - open discussion

Almost anything will work for a 3D printer you are not doing anything serous with hobby level 3D printers, you sound like you are reinventing the wheel as all these types of guiding systems have been...

    No...
  29. Re: Moving Gantry column bearing spacing - open discussion
