Sounds like you have it sorted out...
We now return to your regular scheduled programing!
not neccesarily a good choice for infeed/outfeed tables. It would be difficult to setup tables in plane with main sanding (support) surface. Flat steel buffed and polished with "Johnson's" paste wax...
Excellent video. When is the premier for the sequel?
That's the Carve1 I know, "Full steam ahead"!
We'll be watching the progress.
Randy
Reading: NO....
Looking at all the pretty pictures: YES!!!
Take two asprin, (Tylenol, Advil or whatever works for you) to relieve muscule pain. Then, thourghly lubricate all joints with ample amounts of beer (or any adult beverage of your choice)!
Randy
Good luck with the shop insulation rehab. Just be sure not to over do it and need to rehab yourself!
Remember that with enough cold beer:cheers:, help is usually easy to find!
Randy,
Nice score!
Isn't it great to have nice friends (or nice to have great friends).
C1, you do know that I consider you a great friend? (hint, hint)
Randy,
Al,
I searched and searched but could not find any instructions or online tutorials for the "Free Design Tool". Are there any accessories or "plug-ins" for these?
Could you provide proof of...
When do you anticipate starting actual construction? Looking forward to seeing this come together. Good luck,
Randy,

There are several ways to include a "Thien Baffle" onto/into a DC system.
1) As a pre-seperator installed before the impeller.
2) Incorporated into the "ring" between the cartridge and debris bag....
I'm so sorry for your loss.
There's nothing more I can say.
Randy,
I recently got the 2HP HF DC, it is assembled according to instructions. I plan on modifying it to include a pre-seperator/thien baffle. Have you any similar plans?
Randy,
neurofen,
You can set your machine up in my basement! I won't mind the noise, provided I'm allowed cutting time. I'll even throw in a key to access the basement shop.:D
Randy,
From what I understand any windows operaring system has inherent problems. Are there additional more severe problems associated with running Mach3 on a win7 computer?
Randy,
By all means call me. I love work, I could watch it for hours.LOL!
C1,
Nice saw, I'm jealous. Can I come over to play?
My quess is, it's only a matter of time before you CNC that saw!
Randy,
ger21,
Thanks for the actual amp fiqures. I was using the motor spec's for the 20amp. It's good to know the actual numbers. Would "slow blow" fuses be called for?
Randy,
I'm thinking it was used for the "Eclectic Artsy Fartsy". I would think it would be perfect for the art that is sculpted into the eye of a needle.
Randy,
The HF 2HP DC arrived during our last snow storm (24 hour plowing shift), and has finally been assembled. I still have to run ducting and modify it with a "Thien Baffle". I was also able to pick up a...
SPEEDRE,
Just wanted to say hi neighbor. Where in New Hampshire are you located. I reside in Burlington (Colchester actually), VT.
Have you resolved/calculated your "hair brained" squirrel...
I'm talking about your machine.
Your machine is looking really good. Soon the chips they will be a flyin'!:banana::banana:
Congratulations!!!
Randy,
SPEEDRE,
Whatever route you choose, build or buy, remember to keep the motor isolated from the paint fumes (unless it is an explosion proof motor), otherwise bad bad things could/would happen....
sch,
Haven't had a chance to check in recently. I've been busy plowing every other day lately. Who ordered ALL this snow we've been getting?
Thanks for the info. The old addage is true... I...
This is a bandaid on an open arterial wound. It is a stop gap measure until a REAL solution can be implemented. (Duct tape is wonderful stuff, but I wouldn't use it to patch a hole in my muffler.) If...
Maybe I can snag it for $1.00 and then sell it to finance my cnc router build. :p
I really have no idea what to use it for(or how), mostly curious.
Thanks Al.
I have an opportunity to purchase a Sorensen Power supplies Stm 24-21. I haven't found any useful info for it. I'm not looking to power a cnc with this as I'm assuming it is a test/experiment unit. I...
