yeah mine's still in a coma too. I got the keyboard connected to the motherboard ,, nothing I do seems to bring up a bios.. a DOS disk won't boot in it.. I tried running the hurco floppies again...
Have you done one with a toolchanger yet? If so will we need any additional hardware to control the toolchanger ?

I had found that same diagram on the hurco website some time ago,, I don't have the tb9 connection on the front console board , but i do have the J6 connector on the motherboard,, making up the cable...
my machine is running max32dsp ,yours is ultimax 3,, as you can see the boards in the console differ greatly from yours,, looking at the photo you posted with the keyboard connected the 4 terminals...

I haven't had a chance to do anything with it yet, my paying job keeps getting in the way..
I'm going to take a look at it today and see if my connection inside the console looks like...
when i say removed the hurco controls , i mean as it's all sitting in the shop floor right now , again I didn't cut any wires and i could easily put it back in .. i had already isolated the power...
I must confess that I have now removed all of the hurco control system .. I have been messing with it off and on for almost 6 months now and have tried everything I knew to do and everything anyone...
also , i have read about the darlington battery and other cmos batteries on the main board and I have not seen anything that looks like a battery to me and I am familiar with what the normal...
