I would advice to investigate seriously in order to isolate the root of the fault.

Re: Cannot move the ATC carousel

I would advice to "redo" what you did with control switched off. Looks, like the attempt to cheat the control isn't successfull.
Then try to step ATC backwards in manual mode.
    On the other hand,...

Re: OKUMA OSP7000 reload datas procedure

You should use a service floppy for OSP7000. You can find it with manual here in this forum.
On the other hand, if you want to destroy the control, there are better ways than unknown floppies.

Re: HELP NEEDED - OKUMA LB 10 ATC

As per illustration, are the flange 10 and pipe 11 removed? and again flange and pipe 7 and 8 ?
or maybe the real thing looks different from the picture?

Re: HELP NEEDED - OKUMA LB 10 ATC

are tapers ( pins ) removed?
I guess, you need to release the draw tube at the cylinder end and remove it pulling to the front.
  8. Re: Problems sending files to OSP5000 over RS-232

see #2 and #6 comments on this topic.
Main idea is to understand, what are you doing. Parameter numbers can differ from one instance to another.

check the rear side. Maybe cylinder still holds it.
  10. Re: Problems sending files to OSP5000 over RS-232

PP:, CN0:, CN1: are port names.
In my understanding, serial communication check is quick and easy. Then you can tell for sure if it's not working.

is the parameter tool number ( how many indexing positions the turret has ) right?
  12. Re: Looking for electric circuit diagram for OKUMA LB 10-IIm

    could be original.
Anyway it is Pilz safety relay block. Check if it works correct. There is nothing complicated, only high reliability relays there.
  13. Re: Reduce spindle acceleration/deceleration rates on OSP300 - M560

The simpliest way is multiple lines changing spindle speed.
    instead of S8000
    use
    S80M3
    S100
    S120
    S140
    and so on ...
  14. Re: Problems sending files to OSP5000 over RS-232

    1. Why the BTR was used?
I have no idea. Maybe there are some advantages. Drip feed, for instance.
    2. Original TR. Usefull only in case if you need to use paper tapes.
    3. Serial port. I would...
  15. Re: Looking for electric circuit diagram for OKUMA LB 10-IIm

there could be block of relays on the door of the main control cabinet. Many relays are interexchangeable.

Re: HELP NEEDED - OKUMA LB 10 ATC

    Conditions:
    1. If the number of tools in the turret is correct;
    2. If indexing of the turret is stable.
Just take a good marker and write new version tool numbers on the turret.

Re: Need help. OKUMA LCC15 on the OSP500L-G.

check if all ( including peripheral ) units are electrically connected.
What's the story? Was the lathe running and stopped out of a sudden?
  22. Re: Problems sending files to OSP5000 over RS-232

Only in case if it's damaged, which also is not likely. Okuma RS232 interface is very resistant.
    check if DB-25 is wired.

you start the tool change and press Estop instantly. You need to catch the moment when the turret is unclamped just before indexing ( turret rotation ) starts.
