Hi guys, this is my first "larger" CNC project.
First, i am sorry for my bad english...but mostly i dont care :D
Initial plan was to buy Shapeoko, but when i have seen prices i figured thats too...

this is bad way to fixing rails. i have this way fixed rails, it works, but its not the best solution, why?

main thing in cnc is to avoid vibrations, adn your rail iz fixed with 8 tiny spots.

i have buyed sbr20 rails and sliders from LMB on ebay, and on first inspection i have noticed some vibrations on sliders, and figured thats becouse they are dirty...

i will try some mold.i put some fine quartz sand, alot of metal saw dust for strenght(i have it alof from lathe and mill on my workplace) and connet all that with poly resin. for rail fixture i have...

yeah, that waz my idea.....cheap machine.

what do u think about combo of quartz sand and poly resin? its much cheaper then epoxy.
