Something we've contemplated in our workshop is - Royal Products - the only thing that stops us really is how hard we push our cutters and are not sure of how long the holders would last....

This is true and another 'weak' area. We've been through a few drawbars here and at over £80 each they aren't cheap either.

Hi. Looks like a nice, clean and tidy setup. I work in a shop where we use the air drawbar systems which are great, however they can and do fail. If it is like this one ......

Have you checked the program and made sure this is correct? I.e. Start and end positions, I & J values?? I too am grasping at straws!

I program 7 x 5axis mills, 15 3/4 axis mills all heidenhain 370/410/430/530 controls, 6 x 3/4 axis fanuc mills too - not all at once obviously and sometimes with the help of mastercam!

Clamp half, machine half. Swap clamp to machined side and machine excess from remaining part. If you are using MASTERCAM X5 then surely making the reverse pocket in a vice jaw isn't a problem...
