i know you have to use the tape button instead of the cmt button. i don't know if that helps.

griffo does a nice job too. i just don't try to do it at the control. i think it would be tough.
i am a mazatrol guy. and the only thing i cant do in mazatrol is 3d work, and engraving.(nuts) everything else gets done in mazatrol.
the .01 in the tool change is mill spindle orientation. check out integrexmachinist.com all integrex gus there. if you want some help with mazatrol, i could help u out over the phone if i had a print.

if you are doing any side milling or high feed milling they are great, but if you are just drilling and all the load is into the z axis, i would not bother.

could you drill to the depth(to remove must of the tit ) and then use a bar face to rough it. finish it with a manual program. that way your tool geometry can't screw you up.
