    open up the Macros and use #500 left side and #600 right side same as tool offsetts ----Even one head and odd on the other so you know what side you are offsetting

    RS232 you need to make sure its on -In the menu select and make sure not DNC -----------Also RS232 needs a null modem cable on these machines

    I use mastercam 19 and right back to 3 and i can tell ya most software is to slow and the closer you stay to G code basics the more you can walk away from a job and not get called back every ten mins...

    Okuma eventually learned to use R but took them along time to get past Fanuc codes widely used by other manufactures -------Easy way when they moved away from I J K to L

    You would be looking for a Parameter -Long or Short that can tell the machine ATC not active ------------On Fanuc its a Keep Relay and Most Okumas used to have this option

    Alot of them things just get dirty and sometimes even low on hydraulic oil that maybe drives the shot pin for the arm -----I would start maybe with the easy sutt and just make sure the pin is moving...
