Re: Huanyang Chinese VFD settings and manual here!

Acm and dcm must be daisy chained so they both go to ground. I so had this issue.
  6. Re: Machine 3 - 8020 + Linear Rail + High Speed Ballscrews + GRBL

no complaints anymore, just got to get around to making a touch plate and estop-box. I couldve milled the flats for the linear rails at work, but the extrusions are within tolerance for what I cut...

looks good man. Control boxes always take a long time. Its funny but a too small box basically requires "unclean" wiring practices for everything to actually fit. Is the case itself grounded? I...

  9. Re: Recommended chinese suppliers for linear guides and ballscrews?

do you mean ballnut? Ask them to add a second or simply order another one. They are about35$ a pop or so if I remember correctly.

I'd personally make my own. The BK and BF ones off ebay seem to...

Re: Cutting 1" thick aluminum on CNC

Louie, chip load and feed have no effect on the SFM. The only variables are bit diameter and the RPM. Aluminum is good for 50-1000+ sfm as long as chip evac is there. On my manual mill at 1400rpm I...

    Re: Linear motion advice

12mm supported round rail will work based off the size
1204 ballscrew or maybe 8mm acme rod will also work
Low spindle speed and an air blast help a lot with aluminum
    0.8kw spindle or so.
  13. Re: Recommended chinese suppliers for linear guides and ballscrews?

    Check out Automation Overstock!
  14. Re: GRBL - UGS Controller Direction Understanding

    Re: Locking USB port?

Well, arduino uses generic ports so it should be easy enough. Its not the cable.

I will try re-flowing the board soon. I DO have a spare arduino so its not a dire situation.

yep thats it. Add finish passes in your CAM. The larger end mill will also help, hopefully. Reduce your bore stepdown as well
