found my problem. after it was scaled in inkscape i was saving my images as pixels not inches in a separate window, not a sheetcam problem

thanks for the quick response lee, but the job and machine options were both already set to X 96" and Y 48". Ive also scaled my image to 15" before saving it as a dxf. this is why im so confused.
