So this took a while to figure out before i realized what was going on.
Serial transfers are really robust and there is a reason for that back in the day, they tended to combine two protocols to...
So figured it out. there is no limit switches on this drawtube.. there is a pressure sensor tho and a series of cross check relays.. one of the relays.. fried.. no bueno...
What im trying to locate is the LS1C and 2C in the drawing circled in green.
I actually dont have any draw tube switches at all back of the machine i have a pair that connects to the gearbox. but thats about it.
This is whats having me confused.. there is a Encoder for speed...
The switches i try to locate is called LS1C and LS2C..
I have a LB15, 1985 edition.
Been struggling to get this machine going for a year now..
When i have OD set on the panel for closing on a part, it will error out, the open/closed diodes are not...
If you have a schema or the ability to probe the signals from your remote dongle. A spliced in remote device could be made that directly manipulates the signals in parallell with the current pulse...
I have been retrofitting an older 810D system running a PCU20 towards a new PCU50.3 840D unit cuz the older one died..
Atm on 06.04.30 of the HMI Advanced software, and i got the measuring cycles...
@noexit, see above for alarm 117.. you had the same issue you said.
No OSP5000 does not have a diagnose screen far as i know..
BUT!!.. i found the problem this evening.. was measuring my way thru the whole cabling from solenoid to relay, to key switch.. The...
I do not i have the 2567 (Operation and maintenance manual),
I have the Zero origin set about 100mm out from the chuck
But i havent changed the chuck barrier value.. it statues 55 atm on the for chucking size..
I can index turret, i can open and close...
Reading the manual, center work is flipped by the keyswitch, that is also indicating if the foot pedal for the support is gonna be active or not. :|
Ok, im not afraid of pushing buttons, but there is no such options, parameter or longword what i can find.. Thats why im asking.. :|
What machine you running?? This is a Okuma LB-15 - from 1984.....
This is general tip for setting up tools..I do this method but using a siemens controllers equivalent of CAL
1) Set your machine zero Z0, either by touching your spindle tooling contact face (not...
You dont happen to know what parameters those would be?? Or should i go dig thru the manual. :)
It is moving but very slowly, and not really snappy i have no reference to look at how fast it should be.. so.. im making guesses here to what it can be. :)
Yeah that one sadly states zero all the time.. clamping or not clamping, thus i figure either oil is low or pressure is turned down.
Does anybody knows where to set the chuck clamping pressure on the machine?! i suspect something is off with the hydraulics tbh.
After some figuring i realized i may be in the SMW chuck mode.. even tho i wonder where the "Air" part in that comes from.
In the cabinette there is 3 relays that in concert would control the live...
Im starting to think that those micro switches i found is for the Gear shifter on the machine and not the chuck clamping limit.

Anyone knows what this knob does ?? is it for pressure monitoring or what is that selector for?
the chuck pressure switch seems to have died off .. but as said the chuck still...
Bar pullers, can be as easy as a bit of plastic that "flexes" around the bar stock tho and when unclamping not pulling off the bar.. and if its not unclamped properly will just "loose grip".. No...
So this is what i think is the limit switches for the chuck.. that round metal part that is supposed to trigger the swithces.. that thing aint effing moving to be honest. And on second note.. those...
gotta say i like this, its very clever i need to make a couple in my milling machine..
Being able to run gang groups, with a bar puller and a make shift "coolant" driven endmill spindles in this...
And they are mounted as a normal cutter would be right but you zero it up as a boring bar essentially??
ok, yeah there is two limit switches back there but not seeing anything getting triggered..
To be complete sure; there isnt a parameter setting / tolerance in the parameters pages that has...
Would you happen to have a picture of the limit switches you would be speakin of? cuz the ones i got in the rear is not really getting triggered at all when the chuck is opening and closing. Not...
Ah well as soon you as hit M83 or M84 or any of the pedals when im in OD mode of the chuck it alarms right out - nothing else happens. "ERROR - A: Chuck Open/closing"
when i flip back to ID and...
I fixed the serial transfer issue so i can now send code into the machine just fine actually.. now just the damn chucking issue to sort out.
As most of the machine is kinda "basic" i just removed...
