On my ultimax II once you load a program, I can press the graphics button located above the trackball, and it will show the path of the cutter.

Figured it out. There was a broken solder joint on one of the proximity switches. A little solder and all better .

I am working on the md3 with ultimax II.

My problem is the screen says it is in magazine slot 5 for example. The magazine is actually at locations 6.

I checked the detector proximity switches...

No luck with mid west? Look on eBay. I have bought parts there.

This is what I did . I have an ultimax 2

First I swapped the x and y inputs on the dual axis board and tried to move the y axis. If it acts the same, swap the inputs back, if the problem moves...

Bloke. I found a drive. Do you know if this can be converted to a max 32. I have had one person say yes, one say no. You are the expert.

Bloke- I switched the x and y. The axis starts driving as soon as it is powered up.

When the servo was swapped, the problem followed the amp.

Can these amps be repaired?

I am tracking down an issue I am having on my Y axis on my MD3.

I need to swap the X and Y amp. Can someone tell me which card it is?

On most VFDs there is a way to adjust the rpm speed. Try and find a user manual for your VFD.

I was told that the reason they burn out is the differential between the mill on 3 phase and the computer on single phase.

Mine are 230 or 480 machines.

I use Dave at Midwest cnc to fix my hurco's when I can't .

First you need to switch the editor to NC from conversational.

Then read the file

Then cycle start.

It is that easy.

I have to re setup all the tools when I change editors.

I have one of Jerry's USB gizmos and have it connected to my hurco md1 and md3. Works good. Easy to use.

Be very careful on what you connect to the rs233 port. I burned both of mine out...

The servo drive arrived today. I reinstalled it today and That drive appears to be working . After the gantry moves about 20 inches, the other x axis drive faults. The error is...

Look in the parameter section. You can adjust the maximum I.P.M. The previous owner might have turned it down
