So our machine is back up and running. It only took a few days to get it sorted. Of course the advice above to contact sporty bob was 100% spot on. We had a bad Y axis drive board. Bob had...

I was able to re-load the entire operating system and various other files, I was able to find almost all the info I needed here on CNCZone. I just took a ton of reading various threads. The machine...
Hey all,
I am trying to contact Robert Varney, he has helped us over the years with our Arrow 500 with CT control. Does anyone have any contact information for him?
Thanks
Brian

Hi all,
I have an Arrow 500 with CT control. This A.M. when we went to start the machine I could get the AXIS to align, and the spindle to orient. But the drum will not jog out to the spindle. I do...
I have to publically thank Robert Varney of MAG Global Services. He was exremely helpful in getting our Arrow 500 back making chips. His knowledge of these machines is incredible! If you are having...
We still have not solved this issue of the Z AXIS TOO LOW alarm when we try to swing the drum to the spindle during alignment at startup. The machine has not worked for the last 6 months.
We have...
I've been out sick and have not been able to check the coupling until today. The coupling and all associated hardware is in very good condition. Nothing broken, or damaged, all screws are tight. We...
Nor errors what so ever until I attempt to jog the tool drum to the spindle. Then I get the Z axis too low alert.
Thanks for the input I really do appreciate it! I checked the inputs as instructed. All 3 axis reference bits change to 1 and then blink off. None stay illuminated. It is almost like the machine is...
Does anyone know if there is a diagnostic page I can look at to see if the limit switches are "made". On my Mori lathe I can watch the conditions of various switche by watching the bits change on...
Actually I think the z drops down to tool change position during an "m6". The z align position seems the be the highest position the z travels to.
They do appear in good working order. Wiring is good, all function properly.
When I align the machine the z travels up, hits the switch, jogs down about a third of an inch and the white Z light...
The drives seem to be operating properly...I think! This problem is present right from start up (dead cold machine). If all axis move properly via jog or the manual pul;se generator. It is just when...
I have carefully checked the limit switches, and the associated brackets. All are in good shape. Work properly and are nice and clean. I carefully moved the bracket for the limit switch "stop" up...

We have an Arrow 500 that sat for a couple of months. When we went to use it recently and pressed the align button all axis jogged and the display shows x0 y0 z0. How ever when we try to jog the...
