    hopefully i'm starting to pick this maths stuff up lol

    thanks for the quick reply daz, the drivers came pre-set at 40000, so i just want to fine tune it all to the best setting, i did change 1 to 4000 but changed it back while getting the wiring set up...

    so what i have read so far is my motors are 200 steps per rev, lowest micro step is 400 so that is 200 x 400 = 80000/5 = 16000. divide that by 200 (steps per rev) that works out to 80 turns per 5mm...
