You need to change you I/O (input/output) channel.
Its 4 for a 16i, not sure for a 21 , but your book will have all that info.

No need to save as an STL, you can verify a parasolid or an IGES file too.

If I remember corectly you got to change a parameter in the settings page,
and it will run in the tape mode.

Not even an arguement, YASDA!!
Price tag is 3x that of your average CNC, and worth every penny.

I would say it would fair pretty well. I know Yasda has a new 30taper
mill out. Its all going to be in your approach, how aggressive you want to be.

I have had the pleasure of running Yasdas for the last 5 yrs and as you said
they are the best out. I don't even blink at .0002 tol.

(lower left) in V9.

Check your lead in/out reduce the % to tool dia.
That should take care of that.
