Hi all,
I think i have read just about all there is on this subject ........and sorry to have to post another question about this
ie file transfer from PC to Okuma OSP 5000L
Its done my head for two days....and going around around .......the bend

So from what i have read it appears there's lots of variations to pin numbers on cables etc.....pc settings ...Parameters
However.
Im nearly there with the PC to Machine file delivery , i have it sort of working today , most attempts

Question though ????
Is there such a thing as hardware handshake with the old Okuma LB15 earlier 80s, i mean is it implemented.
If so how does one tell ?? if it is

How i manage to transfer a file now is when i hit send on the computer , i hit write on the OSP as quickly as possible
if im too quick i get little of the file , if im too slow i get about 90% of the file without the first few lines.

Also if it helps diagnose , i cant punch a file back ..... i can only send from PC to OSP

Anyway , if someone is still running an old early 80s OSP 5000L would like to hear how you do it , or any info
