Lightbulb MK1 CNC USB Controller Measure tool Z issue

Bought CNC router and it has automatic Z measure probe. I see many video online show how to set it up on older version it working great, however older version not except my register key. Therefore I download the newest version MK1 CNCUSB Controller, everything working great, but the problem I have now is Tool measure doesn't work. the machine is move down touch the probe and kept going, it doesn't retract. Anyone know which parameter I have to select so the machine retract once tool is touch the probe? Thanks.

Seems like your Z probe have no contact or is not configured in software for the correct pin.
Try make contact by hand without moving Z axis and on the software you must see color change on Z axis, if not you have no contact electrically or not the right input pin configured in settings.

Circuit is closed and Z do change color, however the machine kept going. Look at all the setting and don’t see anything different than 2.10.10xxx beside the UI layout.

    Version 2.10.18xxxx

Just for clarification, do you have PlanetCNC MK1 controller, or the Chinese one?

Download the software direct from Planetcnc. And the machine is from ebay. So I guess mix match of both.

I asked about controller (hardware with firmware written in it) because only the software is not responsible how machine will behave.

Mix bag because i have older version CNCUSB install on W7, is working fine, however my register key won’t work. And the lastest software download direct from Plantcnc Registry Key work, however the probe is act funny.

By the way, I export the old settings then import to new one still won’t work. My suspect is that i could be some missing in the setting that I miss or don’t see.

If in settings Tool Sensor is enabled and as you said the Z change color in software when probe is triggered, then it should work.
If not, the problem is the controller (hardware).
If the controller is not original PlanetCNC with original firmware in it, I`m afraid you can`t get any help here.

With version 2.10.1208.601 delivered with the (chinese) machine it works.
The problem is, that the pin 3 is used for Z- and Probe (if the controller JS-3163b is connected via USB).
All newer versions can not handle this.

Re: MK1 CNC USB Controller Measure tool Z issue

Hi, I have a problem with my cnc usb controller when I select the forward shift of the Y axis it moves backward and when I select reverse it moves forward.
This worked before, I probably change a setting but I can't find it.
I think it's a configuration problem, I looked for it but I can't find it.

    please who can help

Set or remove the check mark on "Reverse" / "Rückwärts" for the Y axis.
