Yes you could, i did it too before, i used mastercam to do 5 axis machining, until my boss purchased the dmu75 monoblock. Because whitout any cam software, mach3 can't do 5 axis machining. Now with this plugin, for example, you can program and create your gcode easily and manually. With a probe you can place your block anywhere on the table and that you can't do, even with any cam sofware and other things again. If you already have machined on a machine like a dmu75 you could understand what i am talking about.

Because whitout any cam software, mach3 can't do 5 axis machining.
That is just not true.

Maybe what you mean is that it is very hard to create the code for 5-axis machining without CAM? That I could understand. But Mach3 itself can do 5 or 6 axis machining all by itself, IF you have the code for it.

I create my 4-axis code by hand using mathematics. This works fine. That lets me design some things but not everything. The same would apply for 5-axis code.

Sorry for the delay, but a error took me a long time to solve the problem. I think freeze for a few people or impossibility of executing the Plugin.
Now it's ok and demo version have been updated and will be available this night.

Some feedback for you.
The pricing on the shop page has a corrupt format. Just have a look.
You need to test the SW under V0.062 as well as that is the most trusted version (NOT v0.066).
Can it drive an ESS? That is the most common external pulse engine.
Can it handle different tool shapes, such as T-slot cutters, ball-end cutters and dovetail cutters?

Price format is Euro, What can you see ?

I just tested with a USB controller (UC100) and LPT port, not tested with others but i think it work. People can download and test it the demo version and make me a feedback for differents driver and differents version of mach3.

Yes it can handle different tool shapes, cylindrical, ball-end cutters and dovetail cutters. T-slot cutters is not implemented yet ( that is to say "yes" and "not") but easy to add it.
