Hello Everyone,
First Time on this Forum. I would just want to ask if MachBlue Tool Setter will work on Galil DMC1840 PCI card? It seems I cannot key in any value on the Fixed Probe Location DRO and Calculated Material Offset. Thanks
Are you hitting the enter key after entering the values?
As for the Galil, I'm not sure. You'd have to ask the guys that wrote the plugin. They're usually available at the ArtSoft USA - Home of Mach3 and LazyCam forum.

Hi Ger21,
Thanks for the quick Reply, Yes I am hitting the enter Key and after hitting the enter key the values entered goes back to Zero. I have two galil controller and both are doing the same thing. Before the firmware upgrade the fixed probe location and calculated Material Offset DRO are freely changing value up and down. When I have upgraded the firmware they were fixed on zero value and i could enter any value that I want, but as soon as I hit Enter they go back to Zero
Is the reset led flashing? I don't think you can update DRO's if it is.

Yes the reset is fine. The machine has been working for months. I just want to add the functionality of the the Mach blue tool setter, Sorry for using wrong terminology what i meant on the DRO is the fixed location probe and calculated Material offset value on the the mach blue keeps on counting up an down. the values could be change but as soon as I hit enter it will go back to counting up and down. Thanks
I've never seen a DRO just count up or down on it's own, except in Screen4 screen designer. I really have no clue why you're seeing what you seem to be seeing.
I don't know of any reason why you can't enter data in the DRO's. The Galil plugin shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I have setup another Machblue with Tool Setter Machine using a normal Parallel Port and I could change the values on the Fixed Probe Location(Machine Coordinate). and the values are not counting Up and Down. Thanks anyway
Thanks Everyone I was able to solve the problem
What was it?

Just replace the OEMdro of the fixed plate offset and calculated Material with different OEMdro number
I need a little help. I am changing computers and forgot how to go in to the laser button and set it up. Could someone please re-educate me. It has been some time I am getting older and cannot remember.
As long as hardware wise all is same.
Copy xml profile file from old computer to new one and drop it in mach3 directory.

Problem fixed
I have installed Mach Blue and Blue V3 update. When I hit z touch test, x axis moves down about 1/4" (without touching anything) then moves up again and says its zeroed (it's not). I have a Xylotex box with a C10 BOB attached. My probe needs two wires, ground goes to alligator clip to tool, 5v wire to touch plate. Probe is set to active low. Light turns green when I touch tool to plate. I checked offsets and dont see anything there. I would love to get this working. I would be grateful for any suggestions.
Thanks,
Stuart
Most likely, noise is triggering the input. It usually happens so fast, that you don't see the LED. One thing you can try is a small capacitor on the input.
Edit:
Just read your post again. Are you saying the X axis is moving??

Yes, after I hit the button to probe, X axis moves down about 1/4" from wherever it is, stops and goes back up, sometimes about two inches and other times til it hits the limit switch (4-5 inches)
Would the capacitor bridge the ground and 5v?
So, the X is moving when the Z is supposed to be?

You just need a small cap to filter out the noise, i had the same problem.
