Arrow laser engraver used on egg!!!

We have finished an engraving test on a egg. The cat and the globosity on the following pictures were engraved by our York Laser smart man 350D.

The work is perfect and without any crack on the eggshell.

Also, York Laser engraving machine can finished the surface engraving on the eggshell. For example, engraving the birthday, brand name or logo on the eggshell.

The above pictures are the for sharing. We just want to share our success engraving with your guys and we will be glad to hear your comments and questions.

This is the really eggshell. We haven't filming the engraving. But if our client wants to check the test, we can try again.

did you use a rotary indexer to engrave or cut the egg and how did you focus(middle?)

    Thanks for woodman's question.

Before the engraving, we need to let the egg-yolk pour out. Drill a tiny hole at the bottom of the egg and let the egg-yolk discharge slowly. It might take some time.

When engraving, we put the egg on a fixture. The fixture move following the engraving progress.

It might take some time to finish the egg. I believe even you screen a vedio, the vedio will be a litter big and get you in trouble when upload it on the website.
    However, nice work.

No need to make an entire egg artwork, a sample would be enough...

As for the video size, youtube is your friend...
