    Have a look here first.

Then go look in your POSTs folder in MCam, there should be a generic fadal post there that works OK. Also, a HAAS post will work, as well as a fanuc post.

Are you using Format 1 or 2?
If I am not mistaking, the post is one thing and the other is how you set up the control in MasterCam. This lets you define if arcs are broken at quadrants or doing full 180 degree sweeps and much more stuff like how tool changes are dealt with.

If you want, pm me. I have a 4020 88HS, Master Cam, and a few Fanuc controlled VMCs.

The generic MasterCam Fadal post is set up for format 2.
The machine behaves differently in format 1.
I always ran my Fadals in format 2.
ObrienDave. MasterCam since V6. Gcode since 1983.
