    Mini-Mill Gear hobbing

    I have a CNC-converted Mini-Mill (actually part of a combination lathe-mill machine) and I have recently been setting it up to do gear hobbing. This is tooth generation with a spiral hob, not the conventional tooth-milling approach.

    I have to admit, I am quite pleased with how it turned out.
