    mitsubishi Freqrol-fr-sf spindle drive unit

    Any ideas anyone.
    machine cuts out on alarm23, spindle will not turn. put unit in open loop condition to test feedback, dont get alarm or cut out, just sits there with spindle not rotating. can anyone help? or point in right direction to find fault. Also does anyone know the correct mcode to activate/deactivate second spindle on a TX-8F control.

    Need Help! mitsubishi Freqrol-fr-sf spindle drive unit

    Hi,

    Did you check the Power Cable continuity from Spindle Drive to Motor?

    Is there any star-delta change over contactor between drive & motor power connection? If so, is any one of them on, when the spindle command is given?

    Because there is not even slight rotation of spindle, the first suspect is this case is the power cable.
