Hi Guys,

I am looking to purchase an old (1987) Nikken rotary table with a stand alone controller, but I am having trouble finding some info that I need.

I need to be able to index 1.5 degrees (240 increments around the part).
However, it is my understanding that many rotary tables with standalone control can only do 1 degree or 5 degree indexing.

I've searched pretty hard on google, but have not been able to come up with an answer (or I'm just not using the right search terms)

Does anybody have experience/knowledge on these Nikken units that may be able to shed some light?

The unit is a CNC-250 DCF with a 8800 DX control.

The actual unit that I am looking at is not under power so unable to actually test.

...no 1st hand knowledge with this model Rotary Table, but most likely is programmable for 240/1.5 degrees...the Interface to your machine is the real question for automatic operations. Found some photos of the unit (I think)
